The first step of any roofing project is a comprehensive evaluation of the roof condition. During our inspection we’ll perform the following:

• Check for signs of water infiltration into the home.
• Look for missing or damaged shingles, including from hail/wind, granular wash, or improperly driven nails.
• Verify proper attic ventilation and balanced intake/exhaust. 
• Ensure that roof penetrations (chimneys, skylights, pipes) are water-tight.
• Confirm that gutters are intact and functioning properly, without cracks, clogs, or standing water.
• Examine the condition of the soffit and fascia, checking for holes, rot, or clogged vents.
• Verify the integrity of the roof flashing.

This free initial assessment will identify any problems with your roof and determine the most appropriate level of repair.

Complete roof system

• Attic insulation and ventilation and their critical contribution to preventing condensation, ensuring balanced intake and exhaust.
• Soffits and fascia, which serve variously to support the outer edge of the roof, to act as a barrier between the inside of your roof and outside elements, and to allow air circulation within the attic and rafters.
• Gutters and downspouts, designed to quickly channel water off of your roof and minimize pooling. Compromised gutters can quickly lead to roof damage so it’s important to include these in any roof evaluation.
